I'm still having hangovers with my experience in EN2010 :) We went to SM Clark last night and saw Kuya Bing, accidentally in the hypermarket. After that we eat paotsin (Because I missed it hehe) and we can't stop talking about EN2010. Ahhh... ;_; anyway.. how are you guys? hehe gomen gomen for not approving your comments.... and where is Leila when you need her? :P oh yeah, she's in friendster; using my profile because she wants to see something. LOL. But she isn't busy blogging ne? :P

This is supposed to be a short update because, I still have to work. I have Five (5) business websites to work with; and three (3) books to layout. One is a devotional book so I feel so refreshed while lay outing it, it's like I am reading a Bible since there are lots of verses to read there. :) I love my business!

Oh speaking of Business... Please read this poster (I know I already blog about this... but I just want to remind you, my friends about this... we are still looking for ^^)

P-Noy shows his first paycheck for the month of July amounting to PHP 63,002.17, his net income following mandatory salary deductions. The Chief Executive gets a 35% pay cut from his monthly salary. The paycheck was released on Monday, August 2.

Transparancy. That is what we need in the government. But just look at this... only 63,000? The GSIS manager has a higher salary than the president!

Sharing: A changed person
I was online on Facebook last night and suddenly, this girl messaged me. She kept telling me how she liked my testimony that she read in my testimony blog. About an agent of satan from the past who became a Christian. She asked me questions about it; but there is one question she asked that made me frowned.

It was the question, "Isn't it that when you are an agent of satan, you can never be freed from the darkness? I mean like if you are in the dark, you can never go to the light?"

I basically said, "You know, You're not the only one who asked me that question. Even though I became a Christian and now people see me as a Christian and they know that I am already a Christian... because of my past, they still think I will never be a true Christian"

and she apologize to me and I said, It's ok no harm done; beside she was not a Christian. What sadden me was I know lots of people who thinks we can't changed just because of our past.... and they are Christians or maybe professing they are Christians?

and then out of curiosity I think, she asked me.. "Is it biblical? I mean the change thing? Can you give me a character in the Bible that people hate before, but was totally changed because of Jesus?"

and I said, "PAUL."

and then she said, "Cool, who is Paul?"

and then I started sharing him about Paul.

Who is Paul?
He was at first name "Saul" He is a persecutor of the Church. Many people are afraid of him (Both Believers or Non-Believers) because He got the power; (Acts 8:3) but after He saw Jesus, he was converted and became a Christian. According to Charles Spurgeon "Paul was a great man. I have no doubt that on the way to Damascus he rode a very high horse. But in a few seconds sufficed to alter the man. How soon God brought him down!" Some theologians said, "The conversion of Saul of Tarsus, the leading persecutor of the Christians, was perhaps the greatest event in church history after the coming of the Spirit at Pentecost." In Acts 9:4, We see that he suddenly found himself on the ground. It was not a heatstroke but a personal meeting with Jesus Christ (Acts 22:6-11).

After that she said, "Cool. Man.. I gotta go now..I hope I will be able to talk to you again. I am really interested about Jesus" she said,

Before I went to sleep, I suddenly read the Bible and I find it interesting that these four encounters or meeting of Paul completed his transformation. ^_^ I just love it when God gives us revelations.

What are these four Meeting that transforms Paul's life?

1. He met Christ (Acts 9:1-9)
Saul was a very dangerous man. Everyone is afraid of him (Like I said, Christians and Non-Christians). But Jesus brought him down. When he encountered Jesus, the angry bull (Acts 9:1) had now become a docile lamb!

2. He met Ananias (Acts 9:10-19)

Ananias was a devout Jew (22:12). He was a believer in Jesus and knew Saul's reputation. But even though he was afraid at first, he certainly was not anxious to obey because he knew that the Lord has chosen Saul.

3. He met the Opposition (Acts 9:20-25)

Now he has discover what it meant to be the hunted instead of the hunter :P He was before a persecutor and now he is preaching Jesus. The Jews sought to silence him.

4. He met with the Jerusalem Believers (Acts 9:26-31)

There were two stages here, what He experience to a Christian Church:

1. He was rejected (v.26)

    1. They were afraid of him

    2. They don't accept him

    3. They are suspicion about his testimony

2. He was accepted (v.28-29)

    - it was Barnabas who helped the church accept Saul. and Barnabas was a well known "encourager".

Reading this and God's revealing these things to me, made me really happy. So whenever there are times people would say, "You don't belong in the Light because of your past. You will never change" I will remember Paul. Apostle Paul who was a chosen man of God; in spite of his past, God used Him and we all know how much God used Paul in his life.

1. If you are a person who is afraid to know God because of Christians? Think PAUL

2. If you are a person who became a believer but your co-Christians does not believe in your testimony? Think PAUL.

3. If you are a Christian and just like Ananias, God is telling you to share this gospel to this ferocious man you know... Remember ANANIAS.

4. If you are a Christian and your co-Christian is not being understood and been rejected by other Christians, Remember BARNABAS

Remember, God doesn't care about your Past. He calls you for a reason. Even other people tells you that you are not worthy to become a Christian, Actually no one is worthy to be called a Christian... it is because of Jesus Christ we became Christians.

I will never forget EN2010. *_* ehehehe... *daydreams* oh yes! hi!!! how are you? Me? I am so happy right now. :) I feel Refreshed and Rejuvenated :D I mean after a long week of working, and a tiring trip from Angeles to Manila... when we arrived at  EN2010, God worked and it was like.. He gave me a Massage! hahahaha (yeah you read right.) Have you heard in the news about Born again Christians singing Amazing Grace? :D hehehe I was there!!!! I found one Video of it in Youtube. (because of God's grace and mercy and Love.. we have witnessed that event and we are a part of that attempt for Guinness book of world records. How awesome is that huh?) - All the Glory Belongs to God! Worshipping Him Every Tribe and Tongue! :)

But ok.. This post is all about my Trip to Manila and EN2010 :) and then a few sharing :). So okay Philip and I thought we could not finish all the work before EN2010, and there was even a problem in the budget because I lend some money to someone and she promised me that she will give it back before EN2010 but she did not, so we were like... sad and Philip just told me to pray. (I was already at the verge of selling some new stuff that I don't use) but Philip told me to pray that God will give us a wisdom. So we prayed, and then I opened my Bible and it said "Wait upon the Lord" I sigh and said Ok Lord I will wait upon you.

And Guess what? God provided :) And it was MORE than the amount we need :) How Awesome is our God huh?? :D Not only that, when we were in Manila.. the person who borrowed the money transfer the money to our bank and so we had spare money :D oh wow! We had a shopping spreeeeee of Every Nation Products!!!! hahahaha :P

But we could not really buy everything because the line was very long @.@ hehehe. Speaking of Line... We were quite amazed how the EN/Victory Ushers handle the people. As Philip said before "This is the most ORGANIZED CHAOS I've ever seen in my life" (um.. don't ask me why he said that... hehehe. But everyone were patiently waiting for the line, (Foreigners and Filipinos) and they were all smiling. It's truly a one big happy family :)

EN2010 is very memorable... not because I saw lots of Celebrities :P (Donita Rose, Jinky Oda, Coney Reyes, Chinkee Tan etc...) and Famous Preachers and Worshippers (Steve Murrel, Darlene Zschech etc..) but because IN THAT conference, we have witnessed many things. I don't know about you... but the Songs that were used to Worship God... to attempt a record for Guinness, the words that were preached... they are somewhat Connected in my Life.

Like what for example?

Well, the Song called, "You'll come". There is a lyrics there that said "Chains be broken". Then all of the songs are about Chains are being broken. As I was worshipping God there.. God reminded me of this Artwork... the Artwork Philip drew after He said to Philip, "New Life. New Beginning." It was a sign of freedom when we left the former church.

FOR HE IS CONSISTENT AND RELIABLE

What else? Oh I also remembered, That Sunday we prayed to God for a Church that will teach us to Honor Him (We have a very high principle of honor even before we were saved but it was dissolved due to some different teachings that was taught to us :P). And God led us to Victory where they teach people to Honor God. And Ptr.Steve Murrel preached about "HONOR" in the 3rd Day of EN2010.

What else?

Oh my favorite Quotes from EN2010:

"What God is about to do in your life is bigger and greater than the person who left you..."

"Embrace learning and love it for it will embrace you back."

"We have a responsibility to carry this gospel to every tribe, every nation, every people…"

"as great as you think God is, he is much greater"

etc!! :D hehehe

There were also those questions in my mind that were answered in EN2010, such as the Banquet Table of the Lord.. That verse is really confusing, but now it was very clear to me :) and Dr Jun Vencer said that you cannot separate Justice and Righteousness. If there is no Justice there is no righteousness.

But most of all... these are the 2 highlights in EN2010. One is we were able to witnessed and be a part of the Amazing Grace being sang in different language. Most of you didn't know but this was my ALL time favorite Song :D I've been singing this in some of my videos and it was my last special number in the former church where they think it was Lame and they didn't like it. But who cares? I only sing it for God :) And now this is the song that was sang there :) and I can't stop crying while singing it in different language hehe :)

And the other one is SMX is literally SHAKING! We were at the first level so it was quite scary! XD some guards outside the MOA thought the building will collapse XD

The fellowship with the EN Family was awesome, International Delegates were very friendly, they are all authentic even the Filipinos. Of course the fellowship with the Victory Angeles was awesome as well :D The PBB Hotel is totally amazing :D hehe :)

Sharing: The Bible as 'the Basis of our lives'
I still remember, that every time I share the Word of God to other people (online or in-person) I seldom being asked why is the Bible so important in our lives. I respond to that Question by saying, "It is the Word of God" and "If you read the Bible, you will be blessed." But there were other people who are not convince in those words, some are asking for a deeper meaning and I can't answer them fully.

For I know that the Bible is very important to us, It gives life to us, It changes us, It helps us, It gives us encouragement, faith etc... But after EN2010... (Last Sunday); It was the particular topic or message of God in Victory Angeles. I was so amazed at how God is moving in our lives and how He answer questions through other people.

Indeed, He has answered another question that lingers my mind.

Ptr. Emer Shared the Word of God in Isaiah 55:10-11 where it said:

"¹⁰As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

¹¹so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

 

If you will look at this verse and medidate about it; you will see the answer to the question why is the Bible so important and it should be the basis of our lives

Why God's Word should be the basis of our Living

1. It will not Return to God empty.
    The Bible has been given to us, and after we share it to other people; it will return to God but it will not return empty to Him. (v.11) That is why there is the process of "Sowing and Reaping" (ne Leila and Rics? XD). Not only when sharing, even in our lives... when we read the Bible, it doesn't return empty to Him. Coz it gives us encouragement, it builds faith, and so when we are being filled; and our lives will changed, it will glorify God.

 

2. It will accomplish God's Desire

    Have you ever desire for anything? You'll do everything to get what you desire right? God has desire too. His desire is for us to Live abundantly, to live victoriously, to give us the fullness of Life and Blessings. If you read John 10:10 you will see two kinds of desire there. The desire of God and the desire of the devil. The Desire of God is for us be fruitful. The devil desire for us is to suffer so he steals everything from us. He steals Joy, Peace, Love etc..

 

3. It will achieve God's purpose

    How would you know that what God has said to you is true? All His words have a purpose. He gave each and everyone of us a purpose. He gave us dreams that have purpose, He gives us vision that has a purpose.
